Book 2 down, only three to go. Mini Review: Sunrise On The Reaping by Suzanne Collins Gripping prequel to the Hunger Games Trilogy that fills in the backstory for Haymich in a satisfying and devastating way. Ultimately this feels more deliberately political than the original trilogy and actively comments on issues of class and political control in a timely manner.

A belated post to announce that I finished my first book a week ago. Mini Review: We'll Prescribe You a Cat by Syou Ishida Whimsical exploration of the power of pet ownership and metal health support. A little slow to start but eventually reveals a deeper story that holds the individual vignettes together and leads to a moving and satisfying ending.
